The Friends of Europe Hepstedt with guest from Belgium
„Discover lands and languages, enjoy other cultures and customs, seek opportunities to work together and most importantly : Become friends!“This is the motto of the ”group of rural communities in Europe“ founded in 1989. Every country from the EU is represented by a community and Hepstedt has been a member since it’s inception. The concept is one of Europe from the grassroots, experienced through citizen involvement . Friends of Europe Hepstedt fully support the municipality in all aspects of the European partnership.

The division "run together" in the SV Hepstedt / Breddorf held annually as the fun run "Ummel run". We invite you cordially. On 20 May 2012 is the Ummel - running for the 10th Time this year. We would be pleased if we can welcome athletes from our partner communities. For an accommodation will be provided. For more information:
